Life Line Chaplaincy provides compassionate support for first responders and their families (of any faith or of no faith) in Western Connecticut, by helping them cope with the crises they face, resulting in a positive impact on their lives and their communities. Life Line Chaplaincy, Inc., is a not-for-profit, non-stock corporation registered with the State of Connecticut and is governed by a board of directors that reflects the highest standards of excellence in pastoral ministry, chaplaincy, not-for profit management, financial management, and business.
Life Line Chaplaincy was founded by Rev. John Revell. John has more than 30 years experience in pastoral and church ministry and has served as chaplain for the Stamford (CT) Police Department since February 2012. In that time, he has helped first responders deal with various crises, including: mass casualty events; life-threatening job-related injuries; traumatic criminal investigations; and horrific accident scenes. In recent years he has also been invited to serve as chaplain for the Westport PD, Connecticut State Police, Stamford 911 Dispatch, Stamford Fire Department, and Newtown Police Department.
John earned his bachelor’s degree in marriage and family counseling from Trinity International University in Miami, FL, and his MDiv degree from Denver Seminary in Denver, CO.
