Board of Directors

President—Rev. John Revell
John (“Rev”) has served as chaplain of the Stamford Police Department since February 2012, as well as for the Westport Police Department since May 2016. He served in pastoral and church ministry for more than 30 years in Miami, FL; Denver, CO; Long Island, NY; Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and Nashville, TN. In addition to his seminary training and broad ministry experience, John is a member of and has received extensive training through the International Conference of Police Chaplains. He is certified in critical incident response through the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation.

Chairman—Michael Fujii
Mike is President and Chief Executive Officer of Berkley Custom Insurance Managers LLC, a member of W.R. Berkley Corporation. He previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Worldwide Insurance Operations at Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd., a publicly traded international insurer. He maintains strong relationships with capital investment firms specializing in financial institutions. Mr. Fujii was former Chairman and Board Member of Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation – Northeast, which provides grants to charitable organizations in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.

Vice President—Fred Revell
Fred is Associate Executive Director of First Priority of South Florida, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that assists thousands of students in South Florida. Fred has served with First Priority for more than 15 years. In recent years, he has been responsible for mobilizing and managing hundreds of volunteers in more than 300 middle and high schools throughout six southern Florida counties. He has also been responsible for helping coordinate fund raising events for the organization.

Treasurer—Don Magee
Don recently retired as the Associate Vice President for Business and Finance with the SBC Executive Committee. Included in his responsibilities was the oversight of receipt and distribution of more than $400 million contributed annually by over 45,000 churches across North America. He also coordinated and oversaw the management of all financial operations, including annual audits, book balancing, and banking responsibilities.

Secretary—Rev. David Forsythe
David served as pastor for more than 35 years in Denver, CO, and Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA, north of Boston. He also served 25 years as volunteer firefighter and chaplain with the Manchester Fire Department. He has broad training and experience in critical incident response. Following 9/11, he was deployed to “ground zero”  and ministered extensively to first responders for several weeks. He was also active assisting first responders following the Boston Marathon bombing of 2014.

Director—Andrew Shasha
Andrew has worked in the energy sector for the past 35 years. During this time he has lived on three different continents and in a dozen cities around the world. He is the founder and managing partner of Natural Energy, LLC (NE). NE has, and has had, offices in Ecuador, Mexico, Houston, Argentina, and Connecticut, and works with Fortune 10 companies in helping them develop or grow their business in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Director—Alex Dudley
Alex serves as Senior Vice President, Communications, at Charter Communications—a Fortune 100 company based in Stamford, CT—where he leads the team responsible for internal and external communications, and corporate social responsibility. Alex joined Charter in 2013 from Time Warner Cable, where he served as Group Vice President, Public Relations, and was responsible for the company’s interaction with national and trade media, and overall public relations strategy.
